Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a Primary Care Physician to work 30 hours per week at Jefferson City Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri.
The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.
Requirements:
• MD/DO • Board certified in primary care specialty • Active, unrestricted Missouri medical license • Active, unrestricted DEA • Missouri BNDD • Ability to pass credentialing and background check
Available Shift:
30 hours per week Day Shift 10 hour shifts Monday - Wednesday No nights, holidays or weekends
