Join Novant Health's virtual primary care team as a fully remote Primary Care Physician.

This is a full-time, weekend-focused remote position requiring 40 hours per week / 36 clinical hours. Candidates must be able to work three 12-hour shifts per week: Saturday, Sunday, and one additional weekday, with flexibility in start times between approximately 7:00 am and 9:00 am ET.

In this role, you will serve as a longitudinal PCP with your own established patient panel, providing ongoing care to established patients within the Novant Health System. You will deliver comprehensive, video-based primary care including preventive care, sick visits, and chronic condition management, while building lasting relationships with patients who will consider you their doctor.

This is a Novant Health-employed position operated in partnership with K Health, which provides the non-clinical infrastructure, administrative support, and AI-driven clinical technology platform that powers the virtual clinic.

The ideal candidate must be licensed in NC or SC, board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine, and comfortable practicing the full spectrum of primary care. What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality preventative, acute, and chronic care in a fully remote, virtual setting
• Elevate remote care by providing compassionate and meaningful patient encounters
• Manage a dedicated panel of patients as their primary care physician
• Refer patients to specialists or acute care services when clinically indicated
• Work on population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients (AWVs, care gaps, transitions of care, risk capture)
• Support patients immediately post-discharge to improve understanding of treatment plans and reduce hospital re-admissions
• Practice continuous self-evaluation to ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Board-Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
• 3+ years of post-residency work experience
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in an in-person primary care setting
• Experience with virtual visits required
• Must have an active NC or SC state medical license, IMLC preferred
• Must have prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Clean background and medical malpractice history
• Willing to commit 40 hours per week, including 36 clinical hours
• Must be able to work three 12-hour shifts per week: Saturday, Sunday, and one additional weekday, with flexibility over starting hours between approximately 7:00 am and 9:00 am ET
• Spanish-speaking is a plus
• Strong interest in developing longitudinal relationships with patients and managing chronic care conditions
• Comfort with management of acute conditions in a virtual setting
• Extensive experience handling 3+ cases per hour
• Eagerness to learn about and implement cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency and clinical outcomes
