Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) - Neighborhood Health Center

Join Neighborhood Health Center (NHC) at our Oregon City Medical Clinic - a local nonprofit community health center where you get to practice meaningful, relationship-centered primary care as part of an integrated care team. NHC provides primary care, behavioral health, pharmacy support, and access to dental services through NHC's Oregon City dental location with a whole-person approach. Compensation and Benefits

·Competitive salary: Starting range of $132,000 to $170,000 annually, depending on experience (DOE).

·Time away: Providers receive 224 hours of PTO annually at 0-4 years of service, increasing with tenure, plus nine paid holidays and two wellness days each year.

Schedule and Work-Life Balance

·For a 1.0 FTE, a 40-hour workweek, would consist of 36 hours of clinical and 4 hours admin. Adjusted accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE options.

·Primarily on-site practice at NHC's Oregon City Medical Clinic in Oregon City, with opportunities to support patients and teams at other NHC locations when coverage is needed.

Practice Details

·Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care with an emphasis on prevention, health promotion, and ongoing care.

·Care for a broad range of physical and mental health needs through assessment, treatment, medications, diagnostic testing, imaging, and specialty referrals.

·Have opportunities to perform minor procedures within your qualifications, licensure, and scope of practice.

·Work alongside an integrated care team and share clinical expertise with support staff involved in patient care.

·Use Epic for documentation and continuity of care, oppurtunity to use Ai tools to improve efficiency.

·Join daily team huddles and contribute to quality and process improvement work that strengthens the patient experience.

Qualifications

·Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program.

· Minimum two years experience as a NP/PA.

·Active and unrestricted Oregon Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate license, with prescriptive authority as applicable.

·Current national board certification appropriate to the profession and population served.

·Active DEA registration and current BLS certification.

·Ability to complete documentation needed for Oregon credentialing.

·Primary care experience is preferred; experience in an FQHC or community health setting is valued.

·Collaborative communication style and interest in sharing knowledge with the care team.

·Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide required employment eligibility documentation. NHC does not sponsor visas at this time.

Working Environment

·Clinical work takes place in an active healthcare environment and includes routine computer/Epic use, standing and walking in the clinic, and occasional lifting or moving of equipment and supplies.
