Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of industrial production and facility-related equipment. This position will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, rebuilding and overhauling automated equipment, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of machinery. The Maintenance Mechanic will support the assigned shift and must be flexible to work additional hours based on business needs.
Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, overhaul, inspect, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial production and facility equipment.
Diagnose and repair CNC lathes, vertical mills, robotic welders, laser cutting machines, paint line equipment, and other automated manufacturing equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Perform PM inspections, complete work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Make precision adjustments and align equipment to ensure safe and accurate machine operation.
Support general facility maintenance, hazardous waste disposal, contractor activities, housekeeping, and 5S initiatives.
Research equipment issues, develop maintenance procedures, and create documentation for new installations or unique equipment problems.
Work independently and with equipment operators, contractors, and other maintenance team members to identify and resolve problems.
Follow all safety procedures and place safety first in all maintenance activities.
High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of industrial maintenance, automated systems, metal fabrication equipment, or equipment repair experience, OR a 2-year technical/trade degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Ability to work flexible hours, safely use ladders/lifts up to 35 feet, work in tight spaces, and lift materials up to 40 lbs.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in CNC machinery, automated manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics; strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
Self-directed team player who can prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively under pressure, mentor less-experienced employees, and maintain a strong commitment to safety and 5S practices.
