Pride in Place Programme Officer (Dover - Buckland & St Radigunds)
This role is being advertised as a fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. The duration is expected to run for 12 months from the start date but may end earlier or be extended depending on the postholder's return.

We are seeking a motivated and forward thinking Pride in Place Programme Officer to support the Council's work on the Government's Pride in Place Programme during a period of maternity leave. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our neighbourhoods by working collaboratively with residents, businesses and partners to deliver long term regeneration and community empowerment.

This role requires current full driving license effective in the UK and use of a motor vehicle for business use, or the ability to get to sites in a timely manner equivalent to motor travel in your own car. The successful applicant will also need to be able to drive the Community Roots van to events which is a Mercedes Sprinter.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as part of their pre-employment clearances.
This role is primarily based at the Council's main offices in Whitfield and includes regular work within the community. There is also the opportunity for some home working, where this supports service and business needs.
