    Position Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing Manager to support and optimize pricing across multiple regions throughout the West Coast. This role requires a critical thinker who can effectively multitask, analyze complex data, and translate insights into actionable pricing strategies that drive competitiveness and profitability. The ideal candidate has strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance pricing performance.

    What You'll Do:

    Strategic Pricing & Market Analysis

    • Analyze customer and product pricing across West Coast markets to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities to increase profitability.
    • Monitor regional market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer behavior to support strategic pricing decisions.
    • Forecast revenue, market share, and profitability using statistical modeling and historical sales data.
    • Identify emerging market segments and recommend pricing strategies tailored to different West Coast regions.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Purchasing, and Key Account teams across the West Coast to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies.
    • Work with Purchasing and Category Management to evaluate cost changes, vendor participation, exchange rates, and inventory health, ensuring regional pricing reflects accurate market conditions.
    • Collaborate with IT to improve pricing tools, streamline pricing updates, and maintain data accuracy across systems.

    Pricing Operations & Optimization

    • Maintain and update deal pricing recommendations based on customer and item segmentation for all assigned West Coast regions.
    • Refine segmentation rules using sales data and compliance trends to improve pricing accuracy and consistency.
    • Assist with high-volume bids, proposals, and customer-specific pricing scenarios.

    Reporting & Communication

    • Generate Pricing Scores at the customer, salesperson, and territory level to measure performance and compliance with pricing guidelines.
    • Present findings, insights, and "what-if" scenario modeling to leadership and regional sales teams.
    • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that support decision-making across the West Coast.
