Kforce has a client that is seeking a Pricing & Contract Management Analyst in Laurel, MD. Summary: The Pricing & Contract Management Analyst is responsible for managing customer pricing, contract profitability, and margin performance across Corporate Multi-Unit (CMU), local contract, market, and national business. This role analyzes pricing trends, evaluates contract compliance, and identifies opportunities to improve margins and profitability. The Analyst partners with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams to ensure accurate pricing, bid management, and contract execution. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain item-level pricing strategies that support revenue and margin goals
  • Analyze customer, market, and national pricing to identify profit improvement opportunities
  • Review daily margin reports to ensure accurate gross profit performance at both customer and product levels
  • Evaluate high-volume products and recommend pricing or cost adjustments to enhance margins
  • Monitor market conditions and recommend contract or bid pricing changes as needed
  • Oversee setup, maintenance, and accuracy of CMU and local contract bids, pricing agreements, and order guides
  • Review bids for profitability, pricing accuracy, and product movement potential
  • Analyze earned income programs and incorporate applicable incentives into pricing structures
  • Partner with Sales and Purchasing teams to ensure contract compliance and profitability objectives are met
  • Assist leadership with reporting, data analysis, and special projects
  • Provide guidance to pricing coordinators and support communication regarding contract pricing and bid management

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of pricing, contract management, revenue management, or related analytical experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
