How you'll make an impact:

Gallagher Bassett is hiring a Pricing Analyst! As a Pricing Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting new business growth and client retention strategies through pricing and profitability analysis. You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, and Operations teams to evaluate costs, analyze trends, and develop pricing recommendations that help drive business success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze pricing, revenue, costs, and profit margins to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales, Account Managers, and Operations teams to develop accurate and competitive client pricing proposals.
  • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities through financial and profitability analysis.
  • Create and enhance pricing models, reports, and analytical tools used across the business.
  • Recommend process improvements and challenge existing methodologies to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Present insights and recommendations that help improve financial performance for both prospective and existing clients.
About you:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree, with preference in a quantitative analytical field such as Finance, Accounting, Math, Statistics and Economics and four or more years of experience in quantitative analysis solving business problems, preferably including some pricing-related experience that may include pricing management, methods and techniques, financial analysis, and/or marketing research.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working in the insurance or financial services industry is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, including Cognos.
  • Knowledge of SQL or Microsoft Access with a strong understanding of relational databases.
  • Extensive experience in Excel-based financial modeling, including financial planning and analysis, pricing, and partnering with non-finance business partners.
  • Comfortable in an environment with changing priorities and competing demands for time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
