    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Staffing & Pricing Support

    • Review operational hours, schedules, and workload data from INFORM and convert them into accurate, supportable headcount and staffing plans.
    • Account for shift coverage, supervision, productivity, days of operation, and other operational needs when developing staffing assumptions.
    • Partner with Operations to validate the staffing and resources needed for services such as cabin cleaning, ramp, passenger services, baggage, support services, and GSE.
    • Use Excel to organize operational data, calculate staffing needs, review costs, and explain the assumptions behind the numbers.
    • Support the development of cost models that include labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and overhead.
    • Help ensure proposed staffing and pricing reflect operational realities, financial targets, and service requirements.

    Proposals & Collaboration

    • Support pricing for aviation ground handling RFPs, bids, and proposals.
    • Review RFP and service requirements with Operations, Sales, Finance, and other partners to identify the staffing, equipment, and resources needed.
    • Document staffing assumptions, calculations, exclusions, and potential risks clearly.
    • Assist with proposal reviews and post-award validation to confirm that the planned staffing aligns with the operation.

    Data, Tools & Process Improvement

    • Maintain accurate spreadsheets, staffing models, and pricing templates.
    • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in operational data and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
    • Help improve how operational hours and staffing needs are translated into proposals and budgets.
    • Track proposal outcomes and share operational insights that can improve future staffing plans and pricing.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Experience in aviation ground handling operations, particularly in a role involving staffing, scheduling, workforce planning, or operational management.
    • Experience working with INFORM and the ability to interpret its operational hours or workload data.
    • Ability to convert operational hours into realistic headcount requirements and explain the calculations.
    • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with staffing data, formulas, and cost calculations.
    • Understanding of how ground handling services are staffed and delivered.
    • Ability to work with Operations, Finance, and other teams to validate assumptions and meet deadlines.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with RFPs, contracts, pricing, or financial modeling is preferred but not required. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant ground handling experience will also be considered.
