Pricing Analyst

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a growing transportation and logistics organization to identify a Pricing Analyst in Denton, TX. This role is 100% onsite initially and will support strategic pricing across multiple transportation modes, with the potential for limited hybrid flexibility over time.

This position is ideal for an experienced logistics professional who understands freight markets, thinks strategically about pricing, and can evaluate multiple transportation options to develop competitive and profitable solutions for customers.

Required:

• 2+ years of logistics pricing or transportation analytics experience
• Strong understanding of freight pricing across multiple transportation modes
• Ability to analyze market conditions, carrier costs, customer requirements, and historical data to determine the right pricing approach
• Strong Excel, quantitative, and analytical skills with an understanding of margin and profitability
• Forward-thinking approach with an understanding of broader transportation and global market dynamics

Preferred:

• 5+ years of overall logistics experience, including at least 2 years focused specifically on pricing
• Experience with freight brokerage, 3PL, or multimodal transportation environments
• Background developing pricing for RFPs, RFQs, spot opportunities, and contract business
• Experience with transportation management systems, pricing platforms, or freight market tools
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, economics, or a related field
