Preventive Maintenance Assistant Technician

Work shift rotation (first, second, third, fourth and fifth), staggered weekend shifts and a reasonable amount of overtime as required. • Be able to organize the Preventive Maintenance group, schedule work, and manage overtime as a back-up to the Group Leader.
• Must be able to document PM activities.
• Repairing vacuum system, leak checking, process gas system, and gas cabinet. Diagnose faulty equipment safely and effectively.
• Put health, safety, and quality first. Put forward a behavior appropriate and conducive to a healthy and safe work environment.
• Actively participate in personnel training required to improve individual performance.
• Work shift rotation (first, second, third, fourth and fifth), staggered weekend shifts and a reasonable amount of overtime as required.
• Follow approved standard operating procedure & safety procedures.
• Trouble shoots faulty equipment.

Skills:

• Good communication, teamwork and organizational skills are essential.
• Effectively manages multiple priorities with high quality expectations in a team-based environment.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Use of power tools and light machining equipment.
• Positive and assertive job attitude, self-motivated, independent worker with the ability to learn.
• Mechanically inclined.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience
