    Preventive Dental Care Specialist – Pooler, GA

     

    A growing dental practice is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Dental Clinical Support Specialist to assist with day-to-day clinical operations and support the dental provider during patient procedures. The role is suited for a dental professional who is comfortable with chairside assisting, radiographs, impressions, and operatory preparation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene services
    • Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
    • Take and develop dental radiographs as appropriate
    • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
    • Assess patients' oral health and communicate findings with the dental team
    • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
    • Collaborate with dentists and other clinical team members
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
    • Provide a comfortable and positive experience for patients

    Qualifications

    • Dental Hygiene degree from an accredited program
    • Active Dental Hygiene license in the state of practice
    • Current CPR certification
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Patient-focused approach to care
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team
    • Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
