Prevention Specialist - Behavioral Health & Wellness

The Prevention Specialist, performs advanced professional and administrative work to prevent violence and substance abuse by training and educating community and student groups; provides advanced consultative services to youth and adults in the community, and conducts student groups in schools. Work involves extensive public speaking, curriculum/program research and development, provision of training, and program delivery and evaluation. Develops and fosters community coalition and partnership activities where appropriate.

Starting Salary: $343,437.00 - $49,953.00

Education Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field or education is required.
• Experience with public speaking and presentations is required.

Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
