Center for Child Protection.Job Title: Prevention Education SpecialistJob Summary The Prevention Education Specialist is a key member of the Education Team, responsible for delivering impactful parent & caregiver workshops, professional trainings, and trauma-informed educational programming across Travis County. These interactive sessions focus on child abuse identification, prevention, and trauma awareness, equipping parents, caregivers, educators, child-serving professionals, and community members with practical knowledge and tools to protect and support children. This role coordinates and facilitates Center-developed prevention and education programs, while cultivating strong community partnerships through ongoing outreach to schools, organizations, and parent groups. The Prevention Education Specialist plays a vital role in advancing the Center's mission by increasing awareness, strengthening prevention efforts, and promoting child safety throughout the community.
