From prevention and outreach to safe housing and education, our programs serve youth and survivors across the Midwest and Southeast regions of the U.S. What You'll DoAs a Prevention Advocate, you will be on the frontlines of educating and empowering youth and adults to recognize, resist, and prevent exploitation. Your role will involve delivering powerful presentations, managing community relationships, and tracking outreach impact in the Manatee County area.You will:Facilitate exploitation prevention trainings for K-12 students and adults.Coordinate and schedule trainings in schools, nonprofits, churches, and community groups.Build and manage relationships with community partners.Collect and report outreach data as outlined in the Prevention Manual.Participate in team meetings and assist with special projects. What You BringBachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Passion for youth education and advocacy.Strong presentation and public speaking skills.Experience with survivors of sexual exploitation or human trafficking (preferred).Clean driving record (preferred) and ability to travel locally.
