Preventative Maintenance Housekeeper

Immediate Supervisor:            General Manager

Major Function:                       Responsible for general cleaning and property upkeep tasks as assigned.

 Essential Functions: 

• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
• Inspect room for maintenance needs and report on maintenance service requests.
• Assist in performing quarterly general clean tasks as required by Marriott International.  Tasks include changing of bedding, inspecting mattresses, replacing shower curtains as assigned, and deep cleaning.
• Assist in performing quarterly preventive maintenance tasks as required by Marriott International.  Tasks include but not limited to, inspecting doors, refrigerator units, furniture and carpet. 
• Cleaning PTAC Filters in Guestrooms.
• Cleaning of public and guestroom carpet.
• Window cleaning as assigned.
• Able to operate laundry equipment.
• Must wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standard of Appearance
• Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Practice safety standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned, of which the associate is capable.
• Associate must adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company, including but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
• Keep all work areas (shop and guest rooms) neat and orderly.
• Assist in controlling operating expenses in accordance with standards.
