Immediate Supervisor: General Manager
Major Function: Responsible for general cleaning and property upkeep tasks as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
- Inspect room for maintenance needs and report on maintenance service requests.
- Assist in performing quarterly general clean tasks as required by Marriott International. Tasks include changing of bedding, inspecting mattresses, replacing shower curtains as assigned, and deep cleaning.
- Assist in performing quarterly preventive maintenance tasks as required by Marriott International. Tasks include but not limited to, inspecting doors, refrigerator units, furniture and carpet.
- Cleaning PTAC Filters in Guestrooms.
- Cleaning of public and guestroom carpet.
- Window cleaning as assigned.
- Able to operate laundry equipment.
- Must wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standard of Appearance
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Practice safety standards at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned, of which the associate is capable.
- Associate must adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company, including but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
- Keep all work areas (shop and guest rooms) neat and orderly.
- Assist in controlling operating expenses in accordance with standards.
