- Ensure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines
- Set up and run equipment safely and efficiently in order to maximize output while meeting customer quality requirements
- Support the company’s key corporate values, objectives and strategies
- Cross-train in as many functions in the department as possible
- Understand and verify manufacturing orders in order to identify internal and customer specifications
- Conduct all processes and procedures in accordance with department key measures
- Ensure all quality practices are being followed accurately and efficiently
- Keep work area clean and orderly using 5S system (standardize, sustain, sort, set in order and shine)
- Meet delivery schedules to ensure customer service and satisfactionOTHER JOB DUTIES (Not considered essential to the job)
- Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 1. Education:
- ï§ High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 2. Experience:
- ï§ 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
- 3. Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- ï§ Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- ï§ Ability to recognize safety concerns
- ï§ Ability to utilize the proper inspection equipment per designated area
- ï§ A highly motivated self-starter
- ï§ Basic math skills
- ï§ Ability to read die drawings and inspect parts and surface finish according to customer specifications
- ï§ Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- ï§ Ability to take part in additional training i.e. Extrusion 101
- ï§ Ability to perform and assist with preventive maintenance
- ï§ Strong communication skills, problem solver, multi-tasker
- ï§ Ability to properly identify materials

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.60. There is an additional $2.25 per hour shift differential.
The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
