- Summary:
- Assist Press Operators with high-speed offset sheetfed printing equipment.
- Help prepare, set up, and maintain presses for production runs.
- Load and stage materials needed for print jobs.
- Monitor production and finished products to identify quality issues.
- Assist with basic equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, changeovers, and cleanup.
- Work closely with the press team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Responsibilities:
- Assist Press Operators with press setup, production runs, changeovers, and cleanup.
- Load and stage paper, materials, and supplies needed for production.
- Monitor equipment and finished products for quality and report any issues to the Press Operator.
- Assist with basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting to help minimize downtime.
- Follow job specifications, production procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area around press equipment.
- Work as part of a team to maintain an efficient production workflow and meet deadlines.
- Requirements:
- Previous printing experience preferred
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around large production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize when equipment or production is not operating correctly.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a production team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Willingness to learn printing press equipment and production processes.
- Ability to follow instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Ability to work 2nd Shift, with potential opportunities on 3rd Shift.
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, warehouse, automotive, mechanical, or industrial experience is a plus.
