Partners Personnel is seeking a Press Brake Operator for a manufacturing company in Lake Mary, FL.
This position is ideal for a skilled operator with experience in metal fabrication and CNC machinery. The Press Brake Operator is responsible for producing high-quality formed parts while maintaining safety, efficiency, and accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computer-controlled press brake machines to form metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and production documents
- Load and run programs to produce correct parts and quantities
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ensure materials meet production requirements before use
- Perform basic machine setup and adjustments (offsets)
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and alarms
- Complete production, quality, and timekeeping documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (6S standards)
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Basic machine operation and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for extended periods during shift
Work Environment & Safety
- Manufacturing/production environment
- Safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves required at all times
- Hearing protection required in designated areas
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and production materials
