    Description

    Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

     

    Key Responsibilities:
    · Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.

    · Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and bend schedules.

    · Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings to achieve required dimensions and tolerances.

    · Inspect completed parts using measuring tools to verify conformance to quality standards.

    · Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product accuracy and consistency.

    · Troubleshoot equipment and production issues and make necessary machine adjustments.

    · Load and unload raw materials and finished products while ensuring proper handling and storage.

    · Maintain production records and accurately document work performed.

    · Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

    · Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.

    · Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

     

    Qualifications:
    · High school diploma or equivalent required.

    · Previous press brake operation experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.

    · Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

    · Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, protractors, and angle gauges.

    · Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.

    · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.

    · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    · Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

    · Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

    · Experience with CNC press brake controls is a plus.
