Press Brake Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator / Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bends and dimensions.
Perform basic fabrication tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling metal components.
Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

Previous experience operating a press brake or fabrication equipment.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or welding environments preferred.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of CNC press brake machines.
Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
Basic welding or metalworking experience.
