Press Brake Operator - Compumeric

Summary

Working under the general direction of the supervisor or lead person, performs a wide variety of duties associated with metal fabrication equipment mainly in the press brake area.

Compensation: This position offers pay of $22.00-$27.00, based on experience. 

Schedule: This position operates on a Monday–Friday schedule. Employees may be assigned to one of the following shifts based on operational and business needs:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Shift assignment will be determined based on company needs and may be discussed at the time of hire.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints.
• Understands how to safely operate powered hand tools.
• Demonstrated ability with precision measurement equipment
• Capable of equipment adjustment
• Ability to load and position parts.
• Maintains area hygiene above industry standards.
• Develop and maintain solid employee morale and safety awareness.
• Adheres to safety and environmental rules.
• Performs general housekeeping.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and/or Experience

• Previous manufacturing experience (Production).
• Press brake experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.

Computer Skills

• Basic to operate CNC machine screen.
