Press Brake Operator and Turret Operator - Strongsville, OH - 2nd shift ($18.75 and above with experience)

Responsibilities:

•  Accountable for safely operating the press brake machinery or turret machinery.
  •  Consistently wear the required PPE per policy.
  •  Complete safety audits monthly.
  •  Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  •  Seek to identify potential hazards and resolve them.
•  Quality-minded with attention to detail.
  •  Accurately read measuring equipment: calipers, height gauge, and micrometer.
  •  Accurately read and interpret blueprints.
  •  Notify appropriate support elements when non-conformances are identified.
•  Competent machine operator
  •  Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  •  Work independently with minimal assistance required once trained.
  •  Think critically and demonstrate the ability to understand and set up machines.
  •  Organization of area maintaining cleanliness and 5S elements.

Requirements: 

• High School Diploma/GED - required.
• 2 or more years of experience preferred.
• Safety-conscious individual with a high level of accountability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• A quality-minded individual with attention to detail.
• A competent machine operator.
• Demonstrator of best practices.
