Specific Role:
Press brake machine operation plays a key role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the performance and utilization of their respective machines.
Key Accountabilities:
- Execute daily production schedules while ensuring all finished products meet specified quality standards
- Maintain organization of manufacturing orders (MOs), including transferring finished work to pallets and properly labeling parts
- Maintain accurate job and production status in OSEON
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of potential hazards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in manufacturing or fabrication preferred
- 1+ years of experience operating press brake machines or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Basic understanding of measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges)
- Familiarity with production tracking systems (e.g., OSEON or similar ERP/MRP systems) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical and Safety Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs. repeatedly
- Stand, walk, and move for an entire shift
- Always use applicable PPE
- Follow safety protocols when using tools and handling materials
