Press Brake Operator - 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
1 ^st shift 5:00-3:30pm Mon-Thurs

Some Friday work about once a month 5:00AM-1PM

Work Environment:

• Physical role requiring lifting, bending, and standing

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Cincinnati press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments as needed.
• Verify part dimensions, angles, and tolerances using measuring instruments.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Minimum of 5 years of press brake operating experience required.
• Experience operating CNC press brake machines required.
• Experience with Cincinnati press brake machines strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication, bending techniques, and tooling.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
