Printing Press Assistants. In this active, mechanical production role, you will assist press operators in setting up high-speed printing presses, performing roll changes, verifying color and print sequences, maintaining tooling, and ensuring smooth production runs.

Description for Printing Press Assistant:
- Assist lead press operators with setup, changeovers, and continuous operation of high-speed printing presses.
- Perform web roll changes, assist with unwind/rewind reels, and load raw material stock safely.
- Inspect printed packaging materials for accurate color match, copy alignment, sequence accuracy, and defect-free quality.
- Maintain, clean, and sanitize press equipment, doctor blades, ink pans, rollers, and shop tools independently.
- Read production job tickets and work orders accurately; use tape measures and basic hand tools to assist with precise machine calibrations.
- Strictly adhere to plant safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) rules, and PPE requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Details for Printing Press Assistant:
- Pay Rate: $17.97+ / hour (Scaling upward based on shift differential).
- Schedule: Full-Time Monday Friday (Enjoy consistent weekday hours with weekends OFF!).
- Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
- Swing Shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
- Graveyard Shift: 10:00 PM 6:00 AM
- Location: Clark County, WA facility.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path featuring rapid machine operator career progression.
Requirements for Printing Press Assistant:
- Physical Stamina Mandatory: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift, stand for long durations, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs.
- Basic Technical Aptitude: Entry-level role, but must be able to read work orders, match color/copy details, and accurately read a standard tape measure.
- Comfortable working in a busy industrial manufacturing environment with ambient machinery noise and standard ink/production odors.
- High attention to detail, strong mechanical curiosity, and pride in clean craftsmanship.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable transportation habits.
