Overview
Our client, a well-established and growing mechanical contracting organisation, is seeking a President to lead the company through its next phase of strategic growth.
The organisation operates multiple divisions under one brand, including residential services, retrofit and renovation work, and commercial/industrial construction. The President will oversee these business units while aligning leadership teams, strengthening operational performance, and driving long-term strategic growth.
This role requires a visionary yet hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning, strong people leadership, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the companys long-term strategic vision
Align multiple divisions and leadership teams under a unified operating strategy
Identify opportunities for expansion, new service lines, and market growth
Position the company for long-term scalability and sustained success
Operational Leadership
Oversee day-to-day leadership across multiple business units
Establish performance metrics and accountability structures across divisions
Drive operational efficiency, profitability, and process improvement
Ensure consistent execution across residential, retrofit, and commercial operations
Leadership & Team Development
Build, mentor, and strengthen the executive leadership team
Recruit and develop high-performing leaders throughout the organisation
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability and growth
Serve as a visible and engaged leader across all divisions
Client & Industry Relationships
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
Represent the company in strategic client interactions and industry engagements
Support business development and growth initiatives
Financial & Business Performance
Partner with finance leadership to ensure strong financial management
Drive revenue growth and operational profitability
Evaluate strategic investments and growth opportunities
