Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and engaging Preschool Teacher to join an experienced team. We are a developmentally appropriate, play based program offering low staff-child ratios and a small group size to better meet the needs of the children. Our curriculum is developed by the teachers and based upon the needs and interests of the children. This job is perfect for EEC certified teachers seeking more experience towards their Lead Teacher certification, those desiring to work in a play-based program or anyone wishing to work with a stable team of experienced teachers.
Responsibilities
Follow and implement a play-based curriculum
Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
Communicate effectively with parents and other school personnel
Maintain a clean and orderly classroom environment
Qualifications
Massachusetts EEC preschool certification
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
Ability to work in a team environment to meet the needs of the children
