Smoky Row Children's Center has been providing high quality care for over 40 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our staff of dedicated teachers. We provide a professional environment with low child/teacher ratios. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children and be able to create a fun and engaging play-based learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children at all times.
- Supporting each child’s social, emotional and intellectual growth and development.
- Guide the children through play-based activities.
- Provide support with solving social problems.
- Maintaining communication with parents, teachers and administrators.
- Assist in planning and implementing play-based activities.
- Assess children's development progress and discuss with parents or guardians.
- Maintain records of children's progress and development.
