Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Gaithersburg is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team.
We're looking for an educator who can create an engaging, structured classroom where preschoolers build confidence, independence, friendships, and important early learning skills through purposeful play and hands-on experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Preschool classroom
- Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance
- Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with classroom support teachers and center leadership
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
- Follow Maryland childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Must meet Maryland requirements to serve as a qualified Preschool Teacher
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous professional preschool, daycare, childcare, or early childhood experience preferred
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented
- Ability to meet all applicable Maryland childcare licensing requirements
