Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be supervising a class of preschool children ages 3-4 yrs old. 

You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment. 

Responsibilities

• Create and follow age-appropriate lessons 
• Involve children in developing their cognitive development with pre-math, number and counting concepts
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills and learning to manage and regulate their feelings
• Set the classroom environment with a schedule, routine, expectations and age-appropriate behavior management
• Communicate with parents, co-teachers and support staff
• Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and state teaching certification, preferred. 
• Associate Degree in Child Development, CDA or Accelerated Early childhood Certificate, accepted
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving and mediation skills
