Assistant Teacher to join our Preschool Promise classroom!
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with preschool-aged children, can work well as part of a team, and is excited to support children’s learning and development.
Requirements:
- Must be at least Oregon Registry Step 5
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Must meet Oregon DELC/Preschool Promise training requirements
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work well with a team
- Patient, nurturing, and comfortable supporting children with a variety of needs
- Able to follow classroom routines, lesson plans, and direction from the lead teacher
The role includes:
- Supporting the lead teacher throughout the day
- Helping with classroom activities, small groups, and learning experiences
- Supporting positive behavior and classroom routines
- Assisting with meals, transitions, playground time, and rest time
- Helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom
- Building positive relationships with children and families
