Part-Time Preschool Sports Coach – Montgomery & Bucks Counties
Amazing Athletes is hiring a fun, energetic, and dependable coach to lead sports and enrichment classes for young children at preschools and daycare centers throughout Montgomery and Bucks counties.
This is a
consistent, long-term part-time position for someone looking for a dependable weekly schedule during weekday mornings, plus a required Tuesday afternoon class.
Our coaches lead
Amazing Athletes classes for children approximately ages 2–6. Classes are typically 30 minutes long and combine sports skills, movement, games, and lots of energy in a fun and encouraging environment.

We are hiring for a
Monday–Friday part-time route, primarily during the morning hours throughout Montgomery and Bucks counties.
The schedule below represents our
best estimate of what the fall route will look like. Exact morning locations and class times may shift slightly as schools finalize enrollment and schedules. Applicants should have general weekday morning availability and some flexibility within these timeframes.
Estimated Fall Schedule
- Monday: Approximately 9:30–11:30 AM — Willow Grove area
- Tuesday: Approximately 9:30–11:00 AM — Horsham area and Tuesday: 3:00–5:00 PM — Springfield, PA
- Wednesday: Approximately 9:30–11:00 AM — Warminster area
- Thursday: Approximately 9:30 AM–12:00 PM — Fort Washington area
- Friday: Approximately 9:30–11:00 AM — Montgomeryville area
Tuesday Afternoon – CONFIRMED & REQUIRED
Tuesday: 3:00–5:00 PM — Springfield, PA
Unlike the estimated morning schedule above,
this Tuesday afternoon class is confirmed and is a required part of this position.
We understand that Springfield is a farther drive from the rest of the route, which is why
these Tuesday afternoon hours are paid at DOUBLE our normal coaching rate ($50/hour).
We are looking for one coach who can cover the complete position, including this Tuesday afternoon commitment.
If you cannot consistently work Tuesdays from 3:00–5:00 PM in Springfield, PA, we unfortunately cannot consider you for this particular opening.
The remaining Monday–Friday morning schedule will be finalized as our schools confirm their fall class times.
Pay
Standard coaching rate: $25/hour
Tuesday afternoon Springfield rate: $50/hour
What You'll Do
As an Amazing Athletes coach, you'll travel to local preschools and daycare centers and lead fun, high-energy classes for young children.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading energetic 30-minute sports and enrichment classes for children approximately ages 2–5
- Teaching basic sports skills through age-appropriate games and activities
- Keeping children engaged, active, smiling, and having fun
- Following our provided lesson plans and curriculum
- Transporting, setting up, and packing up provided coaching equipment
- Building positive and professional relationships with preschool directors, teachers, and parents
- Driving to assigned preschools and daycare centers throughout your weekly route
- Arriving prepared and on time for every scheduled class
Who We're Looking For
You do
not need to be a professional athlete or an experienced sports coach!
We're much more interested in finding someone who is:
- Energetic and outgoing — you're comfortable being silly, enthusiastic, and leading a room full of preschoolers
- Great with young children — patient, positive, encouraging, and able to keep little ones engaged
- Extremely dependable — our schools and children see the same coach every week, so attendance and punctuality are very important
- Professional and friendly when communicating with directors, teachers, and parents
- Comfortable driving between locations and has reliable transportation
- Available consistently during weekday mornings
- Available every Tuesday from 3:00–5:00 PM in Springfield
- Looking for a consistent, long-term part-time position, not temporary or seasonal work
Experience in coaching, teaching, childcare, camps, recreation, youth programs, or working with young children is definitely helpful, but
it is not required.
We provide training, equipment, curriculum, and lesson plans for all of our programs.
Required Clearances
Applicants must be able to obtain the Pennsylvania clearances required to work with children, including:
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
