Full-Time | Immediate Openings
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Salary: $55,000–$70,000 annually (based on experience)

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement lessons aligned with IEP goals and NYS Learning Standards
  • Implement the HighScope Curriculum
  • Adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress and maintain documentation for IEP reporting
  • Collaborate with families, CPSE teams, therapists, and related service providers
  • Participate in parent conferences, CPSE meetings, and parent training activities
Qualifications


Required


  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field
  • NYS Special Education Certification (Birth–Grade 2 or Students with Disabilities)
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs
  • Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Preferred


  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with FBAs and BIPs
  • Knowledge of best practices in early childhood special education
  • Creativity, flexibility, and a passion for inclusive education
