What We're Looking For
- Experienced Educator: Previous preschool teaching experience and a strong understanding of early childhood development.
- Exceptional Classroom Manager: Able to create a structured, nurturing environment with consistent routines and positive behavior guidance.
- Highly Organized: Skilled at managing lesson plans, classroom materials, documentation, and daily responsibilities.
- Creative and Engaging: Loves planning fun, hands-on activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and learning.
- Professional and Dependable: Takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
- Team Player: Communicates effectively with families and colleagues and contributes to a positive school culture.
- Passionate About Children: Committed to helping every child feel valued, supported, and successful.
What You'll Do
- Implement our world-class L.E.A.P.® Curriculum through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
- Maintain an organized, well-managed classroom where children feel safe and excited to learn.
- Use positive guidance and effective classroom management strategies to support children's behavior and development.
- Plan creative experiences that encourage independence, problem-solving, social-emotional growth, and discovery.
- Observe and document children's developmental progress.
- Build meaningful partnerships with families through consistent communication.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and leadership to provide an exceptional school experience.
- Maintain compliance with Florida childcare licensing requirements and all school safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous preschool teaching experience required.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Creativity, initiative, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
- Ability to meet applicable Florida childcare training, credentialing, and employment requirements.
- Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Background Screening Clearinghouse. Employment is contingent upon receiving the required clearance and eligibility determination.
