Assistant Directors at The Learning Experience are key contributors to our mission of making a positive impact on the lives of children, their families, and the communities we serve. They play an essential leadership role, supporting the Center Director in daily operations, key tasks, and organizational systems. As administrative partners, Assistant Directors ensure the center runs smoothly and efficiently.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 21 years of age or older
• Two or more years of teaching experience, center leadership, curriculum management, and/or people leadership experience highly preferred. At least one year of early childhood teaching experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Center Director

• Assist the Center Director in managing daily operations, including staff scheduling, enrollment, data entry, record keeping/auditing and curriculum planning.

• Staff Development

• Mentor and guide Lead Teachers, providing support and feedback to enhance their professional growth.

• Curriculum Oversight

• Ensure the effective implementation of our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working closely with Lead Teachers to adapt it to individual child needs.

• Safety and Compliance

• Prioritize the safety and well-being of children, ensuring adherence to state and federal guidelines.

• Parent Communication

• Collaborate with Lead Teachers to keep parents informed about their childs progress and maintain open lines of communication.

• Problem-Solving

• Address any challenges within the center, offering creative solutions and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of center leadership/management experience highly preferred. At least one year of center leadership/management experience required.
• Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children.
• Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
• CPR and First Aide Certification highly preferred.
• Must meet state specific guidelines

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
