The salary schedule begins at $41,600 for a teacher with a bachelors degree and no experience. TCESC teachers work a 184-day contract. TCESC pays 90 percent of a teachers healthcare premium each month. Teachers accrue paid sick leave and have three personal days per year. TCESC pays for a $50,000 life insurance policy. Funds are available for partial tuition reimbursement. TCESC provides a mentor and a structured program for resident educators.
