Preschool Intervention and Refferral Specialist {PIRS)

Job Summary:

This position is for a Preschool Intervention and Refferral Specialist {PIRS) for the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Valid New Jersey Standard Certificate in one of the following: Preschool through Grade 3 (P-3), Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD), Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)

Bachelors degree or higher

Minimum of three years of successful experience in early childhood education

Knowledge of child development, inclusive preschool practices, MTSS, and evidence-based social-emotional and behavioral interventions.

Experience providing instructional coaching and professional learning .

Experience with Teaching Strategies and Preschool Education Aid programs preferred.

BCBA certification preferred.

Advanced skills in the use of computers and computing devices, interactive whiteboards, GAbility to work harmoniously in a multicultural, diverse community

Strong interpersonal and communication skill

Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively

Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status
