All resource teachers will get support from our faculty and school leadership every step of the way to help develop and grow their teaching skills. Responsibilities of a Kitchen Aide/Resource Teacher include the following: no direct cooking -- preparing healthy morning and afternoon snacks and catered/heated lunch distribution only, maintaining kitchen in accordance with Ohio Dept Health guidelines. ServSafe Training will be provided if not current. Be part of a team of 3 other full time resource teachers who support classrooms as need for breaks, planning time, etc. Working with the classroom teachers and in conjunction with the entire faculty.

Qualifications include the following: shows empathy and compassion for young children. Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
