We are looking for dedicated individual to join our Early Childhood Education team as Associate Teacher. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children while supporting our mission to provide high-quality education and care.
What were looking for in the ideal candidate:
Has 12 semester units ECE/CD, with a grade C or better, or CDA Credential or CTC. Units must consist of the following core classes:
Child Growth & Development
Child, Family & Community, or Child & Family Relations
ECE/CD Programs/Curriculum courses
For positions in our Infant/Toddler classroom, candidates must have 3 units of Infant/Toddler courses.
Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher at the time of hire; candidates who do not possess the permit must qualify for and submit an application for the permit within 60 days of their start date.
Has 6 months related experience with children ages 0-5 years of age.
Depending on the department assigned, a valid California driver's license, a current DMV driving record, and proof of insurance may be required to fulfill job-related travel. Reasonable accommodations will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.
