Description

TRC Talent is looking for an Assembly Technician for our client in Kennesaw!

Job Summary:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment. This role ensures that all medical devices are in proper working condition, meet regulatory standards, and are safe for patient use. The technician works closely with healthcare staff to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

Job Details:

  • Monday-Friday, 7AM-4:30PM

  • $21/hr

  • Temp to hire

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure new biomedical equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and facility standards.

  • Perform equipment inspections, testing, and verification to ensure proper functionality prior to deployment.

  • Coordinate equipment setup and integration within clinical and operational environments.

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on biomedical equipment to maximize performance and reliability

  • Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational standards.

  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and calibration activities.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions and performance issues.

  • Replace defective components and perform functional testing to verify successful repairs.

  • Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and service providers on complex repairs and technical support needs.

  • Minimize equipment downtime through timely and effective service.

  • Ensure all biomedical equipment complies with applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

  • Perform routine safety inspections, risk assessments, and performance evaluations.

  • Stay current on industry regulations, technological advancements, and best practices related to biomedical equipment.

  • Provide training and guidance to healthcare staff on the proper operation, care, and maintenance of biomedical equipment.

  • Respond to technical support requests and assist users in resolving equipment-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience maintaining and repairing biomedical equipment in a healthcare or clinical environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical/electrical skills.

  • Knowledge of healthcare safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and work effectively with healthcare professionals, vendors, and manufacturers.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
