We are a vibrant Latin / Caribbean restaurant located in the heart of walnut creek. We opened in 2022 and are seeking to continue to grow our team.

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team and prepare high-quality dishes for our guests. The Full Time Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking and presenting dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

Available shifts: 30+ hours per week (plus tips)

2pm-11pm

4pm-11pm

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing and chopping vegetables, meat and fish.

• Cook and present dishes according to Chef's specifications, including following recipes and presentation standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils and maintaining inventory levels as needed.

• Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management.

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid California Food Handlers Card

  Minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a similar role

• Strong attention to detail and high level of organization and cleanliness

• Ability to multitask and handle a workload.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Basic math skills
