Prep Cook, Point of Sale

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds. Running a Point of Sale with orders placed on the website, credit card swipers, and cash.

We are seeking a Prep Cook/Cashier to assist our team at a school in DeLand. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals with our crew for our students and staff. If you have a passion for feeding our youth during their favorite time of the day, we want to hear from you!  



Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Set up the kitchen with the necessary tools and equipment
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
• Follow all food safety regulations
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Running a Point of Sale with orders placed on the website, credit card swipers, and cash
• Must be able to pass a background check that we do for you

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in a similar role is required
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
