Upshift is hiring Prep Cooks for a university dining kitchen in Pittsburgh and for restaurants, hotels and event kitchens across the city. You are a W-2 employee of Upshift; we schedule you on the shifts you choose.
About the job
- Prep and cook in a high-volume kitchen: knife work, batch cooking, station set-up and breakdown.
- Follow recipes, portion standards and food-safety rules.
- Keep your station stocked and sanitized through service.
- Shifts available now: breakfast, lunch and dinner, including weekends. Typical shift 5–8 hours.

Pay and benefits
- $23.00 per hour, shown on every shift before you claim it.

Requirements
- Cooking experience of any kind: prep, line, grill, cafeteria, catering or quick-service.
- 18 or older, with a smartphone.
- Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lb.
- Reliable transportation to campus recommended.
