Prep Cook

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.

• Portion ingredients and store them appropriately for use by the cooking team.

• Handle food safely and in compliance with health and sanitation standards.

• Follow instructions accurately and work quickly under pressure.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage of tools and ingredients.

• Monitor inventories of ingredients and notify supervisors when restocks are needed.

• Support the Line Cooks and Chef by having ingredients ready when service starts.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year experience.
• Working knowledge of fundamental and intermediate cooking techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes, properly season, finish food items, and plate presentation. 

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Dependable, team-oriented, and motivated to contribute to smooth and efficient service.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
