Prep Cook - Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Proof of the Pudding is hiring Prep Cooks to join our culinary team at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden! We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy cooking, teamwork, and preparing high-quality food for exciting events.

Location: Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden Dallas, TX

• Prepare ingredients and food for catering events and daily operations.
  

• Follow recipes, prep lists, and chef instructions.
  

• Assist with high-volume food production and event preparation.
  

• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen workstations.
  

• Properly store, label, and rotate food products.
  

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature guidelines.
  

• Assist chefs with additional kitchen duties as needed.
  

• Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience preferred.
  

• Catering or high-volume food preparation experience a plus.
  

• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety practices.
  

• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it.
  

• Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
  

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  

• Reliable transportation to Dallas.
