    Position: Premium Club Runner 

     

    Reports: Server Coordinator 

     

    Hourly Rate: $15.00/Hr. 

     

    Position Summary:  

     

    Looking for a fast-paced, team driven role where you’re right in the middle of the action?  Join our Food & Beverage team at the Erie Insurance Arena as a Premium Club Runner and help fuel the fun for our Club and Suite guests.  You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero, making sure our suites stay stocked, food is hot and ready, and we are ready to deliver top-tier service during the event.  

     

    Qualifications: 

     

    He or she must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  He / she must be 18 years or older. He / she must demonstrate the ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions. He / she must work well in a team environment and have the ability to work independently and in a high stressed, fast-paced environment.  He / she must have the ability to follow oral and written direction and perform simple mathematical calculations.  He / she must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to five (5) hours in length and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.  Must be able to work an event-based schedule which regularly includes evenings, weekends and holidays. 

     

    Job Description Detail: 

    • He/she provides logistical support in delivering cold/hot food orders from the kitchen or pantry to suites, club level and other areas of the arena 
    • Ability to read Banquet Event Orders 
    • Willing to learn catering equipment that is used 
    • Ensure orders are delivered timely and correctly 
    • Deliver extra supplies where needed as requested by Manager on Duty 
    • End of event clearing of catering equipment in suites 
    • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.
