DEFINITION
Under general supervision, serves as a member of the Individual Education Program Planning Team and participates in decisions regarding placement of students with exceptional needs.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Must possess or qualify for a Preliminary or Clear Education Specialist Early Childhood Education Teaching Credential. Interns/Emergency Permits will be considered. Completed application, resume, letters of reference, and copy of appropriate credential (or letter from your university).

This opening is for the 2026-27 school year and is located at Lime Street Elementary School. We will interview as we receive qualified candidates. HUSD accepts 20 years of outside experience! Our teachers do make a contribution towards their benefit package.
