  • Support drug safety risk prediction from early-stage molecule evaluation through clinical development and post-marketing surveillance.
- Architecture and Platform Design
  • Translate prototype results and feasibility assessments into technical architecture recommendations and platform requirements.
  • Contribute to shared data foundations, ontologies, knowledge graphs, and reusable technical capabilities.
- Agile Development and Governance
  • Rapidly prototype and test reusable technical solutions in an agile environment.
  • Collaborate with Roche Digital Technology (RDT) to transition prototypes into formal validation, compliance, and production deployment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with data scientists, safety scientists, and technical teams to align development activities with business and scientific objectives.
  • Communicate technical findings, feasibility assessments, and recommendations to global, cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems, large language model (LLM) tools, and MCP tools.
  • Experience working with biomedical datasets, such as omics, clinical trial data, real-world evidence, and in vitro/in vivo data.
  • Strong software engineering skills suited to data science and rapid prototyping.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging AI frameworks and translate proof-of-concept solutions into scalable technical capabilities.

Preferred Domain Knowledge
  • Experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, toxicology, or quantitative risk management.
  • Familiarity with drug development and patient safety assessment across the product lifecycle.
