Preconstruction Manager - Structural Concrete

My client provides specialty contracting services to clients in the Industrial, Commercial, and Manufacturing markets with regards to concrete.

Reporting directly into the COO, the main duties and responsibilities of the Chief Estimator / Preconstruction Manager will be:

• Estimate from both concept designs and complete designs
• Completion of all aspects of project bidding including plan and specification takeoff, pricing, and client communication / follow-up
• Assist with the development, updating and implementation of an estimating database with assemblies
• Assist or lead the process of implementation of estimating program software system
• Maintain a cost history data base
• Review rewarded bids with Construction team to ensure budget accuracy and resource allocation
• Interact with owner-clients and General Contractors to build and maintain relationships
• As team grows, lead the development efforts for less experienced Estimating staff
